« Death or Glory legen mit “Can’t stop me” ein erstklassiges Album vor, dass Freunden von The Clash, The Ruts oder Gang of Four Freudentränen in die Augen treiben wird.

Death Or Glory kommen aus Rennes und “Can’t stop me” ist ihr erster Longplayer. Und der, um das mal gleich vorweg zu nehmen – gefällt mir ausgezeichnet! Das Trio hat sich nicht umsonst nach einem Song der “London Calling” benannt. Erstklassiger Punkrock mit Dub- und Reggae-Einflüssen wird hier geboten. Aber nicht nur, denn auch Gang of Four-Einflüsse höre ich hier heraus. Großes Kino also! Die Texte handeln von urbanem Lärm, heißen Liebesaffären und der Gewalt der Straße. Einzelne Songs hervorzuheben fällt mir schwer, denn schwache Stücke gibt es hier nicht. Meine Favoriten sind “Shades of pain”, “Can’t stop me” und “Unemployment”. Hört euch die Platte einfach bei YouTube an [oder bei ihr Radio an], sucht euch eure eigenen Favoriten und bestellt dann einfach die LP. Wer auch nur entfernt auf The Clash, The Ruts, Redskins oder Gang of Four steht, wird hier seine Freude haben.

Death Or Glory have released their LP since one month now. Last week our stock comes to Leipzig thanks Thierry and Mael, the glory punkpostmen. As expected the cover looks great and the record sounds good. Eleven songs of clashy punk rock, talking to you about how looking for a job is as alienating as having a job, how kidnapping your boss is fair, how rioting is romanticaly frustrating and how love is a struggle.

Entre Chien Et Loup is a small DIY label started in 2011 with the co-production of Tuna first LP. We are three friends from Brest (Brittany, France) but we’re now spread all over the world, one in Rennes (Britanny), one in Leipzig (Germany) and one in Cebu (Philippines).

The main goal of the label is to help bands we like to release and broadcast their music, we believe in DIY and non-profit.
